.
. 'Lynwood’ offers
warm, comfortable accommodation, en-suite rooms, tea and
coffee making facilities, Freeview TV, WiFi, and private
parking.
.
. Lying in an idyllic,
sheltered location in the heart of rural Speyside, with wonderful views of Ben
Rinnes from the drive, "Lynwood" is an ideal location from which to
enjoy the many pursuits the Spey Valley has to offer - with fishing, walking
and skiing being amongst the most popular. |
|
.
. For the
more energetic, there are nearby Ben Rinnes and Ben Aigan to climb
- weather permitting! Also, the magnificent Cairngorms and the well
known skiing resorts of Aviemore and the Lecht are within easy reach,
as is the coast, with its many quaint Scottish fishing villages.
.
. This
part of Scotland is famous for its whisky production. Follow
the Malt Whisky Trail and visit the numerous distilleries along
the way. The Macallan Distillery - said to produce one of the
finest whiskies in Scotland - is just 1/2 mile down the road,
and Dufftown - the Malt Whisky Capital of the World, home of
the famous Glenfiddich Distillery - is only 6 miles away.

. All
this combined makes ‘Lynwood’ an ideal base from
which to explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
.
. There
are numerous places to eat in the nearby villages of Aberlour,
Archiestown, Dufftown and Craigellachie, but if you don’t
mind driving a few miles farther you can have a superb meal
at Grantown-on-Spey or Tomintoul, one of the highest villages
in Scotland.
.
. A
pickup service from a
designated place can
be made by prior arrangement
for walkers, and we can
also drive and pick you
up from a restaurant
of your choice for your
evening meal. Both these
services would carry
an additional fee.
.
. We
look forward to welcoming
you into our home. |
